In this modern world the greatest mystery in space is about to Dark Matter and Dark Energy  . First question is arise in mind that what is Dark Matter/Energy ? 
Let me tell you about Dark Energy that this is a mysterious force that drives the accelerating expansion of the universe . 

Most of this universe is made up by Dark particles and energy and approximate 5% of this universe is made by planets and stars .

In early days it was certain that the universe expands continuously . Universe expands due to this unknown dark energy . 
In other explanation of Dark Energy is that It is fluid , force or something that fills space . 
Albert Einstein was first who said that ' Empty space is not nothing ' .

Now you are thinking that what is difference between Dark Energy and Dark Matter ? 

Answer is that :-

Dark matter must exist to account for the gravity that holds galaxies together Whereas 
Dark energy, which also goes by the names of the cosmological constant or quintessence, must exist due to the rate of expansion we observe for our universe .

But i think there is nothing difference between both .
